Corny as "Sherpa dog". - 25 degrees and falling! Note the socks. It's actually two sweaters. I've had to sew the tootsies shut on the "legs" because it's so cold out there that he gets just a little too far from the door not realizing how cold it really is and will fall over and hold his paws in the sky. I then must heft on my parka, hiking boots and mittens, ratchet up my hood and out I dash. This is all done in seconds with me muttering under my breath "I should have realized". So yes I've sewn the legs on the under sweater shut to form booties. No other booties will stay on his flat feet! Shih tzu doggies not only have flat beaks but their feet are equally flat! Then I pull a second sweater overtop. This because it has tight arm holes which act as garters holding the "leggings up! It's a long old rigamarole to get him in and out three times a day but it's worth it.
