Why I blog?

Someone asked me recently if I was inspired to blog by a mutual blogger and personal friend. I had to think that one over because in fact I have been blogging since Oct 4 2001. Back then for me it was strictly text and in fact I learned html for that express purpose. My blog at that time was private - a place for me to write. I did follow others and watch the evolution of revenue generating blogs, widgets and so forth. I love what's happened in the blogging world. In 2006 I started another blog with the intention of using it to post pics and journal. I quickly lost interest or should I say life got too complicated for me to spend much time attending to newsy bits from my life. Recently - since 2007, I discovered photo organization/papercrafting/scrapbooking as a vehicle for documenting my history and that of my children and embarked again on another blog. In 2011 I  returned to the blog briefly but I was busy organizing my four decades of photos, scanning and uploading to LOM. That project took months! Then I discovered LOSB and so many of the members of that forum have blogs. I have since then followed so many on Youtube also with blogs so decided to revisit the idea but this time with my own personal interests showcased. So that's what you'll see here. A little of this and a bit of that - my life's tidbits. I think this blogs' gonna stick!
