Mixed Media - Mother's Butterfly Garden

Mixed media canvas, incorporating soft and gel mediums, acrylic paints. I've mounted designer paper on inchie chipboard. The edges were sanded and inked with distress inks. The face and arms are cut from designer paper. The stacked birds under the inchies are resist canvas and I painted it with two different blues. I employed a new technique which I developed, for the dress and hair and have yet to put features on her who knows were that will take me.
